My dad passed on May 15th, 2023.
Buckler was the funeral home he wanted. From literally the first interaction, every single interaction was stellar. They held our hands (sometimes literally) through every step of the process. They provided advice, support and most importantly, chocolate. The home was fully stocked with snacks and drinks every time we were there. That may seem insignificant to some, but it is very important while going through the process to remember to eat! They responded to every email and every text. They were compassionate, understanding and supportive. They treated my dad with dignity and he looked exactly how he looked in life. They assisted us in a "trial run" when we told them we wanted to transport my dad to the cemetery in his truck.
Everything went so smoothly and seamless.
We can't say thank you enough.
To Angela, Michele all of the "secret service" men, the people who transported dad to the funeral home and every one else involved... thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made a horrible time in our lives less horrible by taking some of our stress away.

My mom had only dealt with John concerning other family members funerals, so when Michele arrived to pick up my mom, I just had to go with the flow and trust that she would be in good hands.
Well, you are the most kind, caring, understanding and compassionate funeral director that I have had the privilege to deal with.

My father had chosen Buckler -Johnston as his funeral home a long time ago. Previous experiences were very good in his eyes. I knew that when my sister and I met with John about the arrangements it would be taken care and we'd be very satisfied. John and his team certainly didn't disappoint us. The service was outstanding even during Covid-19. Great job with the military honors also.

I cant say enough about the wonderful treatment and professionalism from Michelle. We lost both parents in 9 weeks and really relied on Michelle more than most, I'm sure. What I appreciate most about Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home was that they were very honest about there pricing. I found the Funeral Director Michele Wegner to be very compassionate and determined to provide the best possible care to our family and loved one. Buckler-Johnston was wonderful to our family, from the moment we met Michelle on a Friday afternoon to do cremation paperwork for my parents, to the arrangements shortly after for my dad passed just weeks later. Michelle listened to my moms request for a tour of the facility even though she was being cremated. Michelle spent hours with us going over everything and was readily available if I had concerns on off hours. I truly cant say enough about the funeral home. They are extremely professional and kind.
