Agnes E. Wallace

Agnes E. (Rozanski) Wallace, 93, of Westerly, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Westerly Hospital. She was the wife of the late William P. Wallace. Born on July 24, 1924 in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Loughborough) Rozanski.

Agnes enjoyed her work as a surgical dental assistant for Dr. Jerome Singer. Outside of the office, she remained very active from playing golf, participating in cribbage and bowling leagues along with gardening and rug hooking. She also created beautiful oil paintings that she shared at various art shows. Most importantly, she loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves her daughters Elizabeth Algieri and her husband Louis, Linda Perra and her husband Arthur and Donna Padula and her husband Thomas all of Hopkinton; her 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; her sister Elaine Johnson of Hopkinton along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Pauline Bertoni and Julia Robinson.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Buckler- Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main Street, Westerly, RI 02891. Funeral services and burial will be held privately by the family.
