It was just the anniversary of your passing, and today was your birthday. You are never gone from me...and I will love you forever.

I wished we could have sat down and talked after Don's passing. You were a huge part of his life--most of his songs had you in mind! We have been 6 years into a project with his music and I would personally love to keep you in the loop. I considered myself a dear friend of his, and we talked about you often.

Jane, Mr Campbell, Kenny....I don't need to tell you how much Don's friendship and musicianship meant to me. He made me the guitarist and songwriter than I am today. There was no Promise Band without Don. His talent, direction, and love of his friends drove us to excel and be better human beings. Words are impossible to convey my feelings but let's just say it goes beyond blood, beyond friendship. He was my brother.

Don was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. A kind soul.
I knew Don from working at Almacs with him also with Nat, Hen, & Cheech.
All of them were also the Band The promise along with Paul who played Bass.
I remember he had a rough patch after his split with his X so the gang from Almacs decided to do a Dean Martin style roast for him. It was a great event. He knew a lot of people cared and loved him too.
It has been years since I had seen Don and I didn't know he passed.
I am sorry for all of us on this earth because we will miss a truly good & decent human being in our lives.
But I do believe that when are time comes to go to the other side that he will be there to greet us with that warm smile and genuine humility...
God Bless You Don and those that you hold dear in your heart!!! Mike :)

What a beautiful tribute to Don. I had the pleasure of knowing Don through my Aunt Jane. He was a kind man who always took great interest in Jane’s family. I’m glad to know he is at peace. He will be missed. My prayers and condolences are with Jane and Don’s family.

Don was such a warm, kind and generous person. After a very difficult battle, I hope Don has found peace. I know he leaves behind wonderful memories for many. Every time I hear a Beatles song, I will remember Don.

To Jane, Mr. Campbell, Ken and family, and Dave & George,
My prayers are with you during this horrific time of loss. Don still has one of the purest souls any of us have been blessed to be in the presence of. His intelligence is only surpassed by his wisdom. His gifts of music , words, and philosophy will live on in his unequaled original songs, which all had positive messages even in expressing every emotion on the spectrum. There is no doubt whatsoever in my heart that he is free from all physical limitations and is looking down upon us from his place of eternal peace. Spread your wings and fly, ' Nald. Feel our love as we feel yours and always will.
