Glenn Eric Dawson

Glenn Eric Dawson, 52, of Hopkinton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 21, 2017. Born on March 26, 1964 in Providence, he was the son of Joseph H. Dawson and the late Gloria (Nelson) Dawson.

Glenn attended Westerly schools and graduated from The Williams School in New London, CT. He also graduated from RI School of Photography in 1987 and attended Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. He also had attended the University of RI.

Glenn loved the rural life and spending as much time outdoors as possible. He especially enjoyed hiking, skiing and skin diving. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Friends and family are welcome to gather for calling hours on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Andrew Lutheran Church Food Pantry, 15 East Beach Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
