Lia Rose Page

A beautiful girl who was loved by all, Lia Rose Page, 2 years old, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family after complications with a bone marrow transplant as treatment for SCID.  Born on September 9, 2015 in South Kingstown, she was cherished every day by her mother Lindsay Ann Fagre and father Lucas Paul Page.  

Lia was a sassy, smart and always happy girl who had an amazing sense of humor and the vocabulary to back it up. She loved to share her opinion and you always knew where you stood with her.  Her kind heart was bigger than you could imagine and she always thought of others before herself. She would kiss your boo-boos first, even though she was struggling through treatments.  She loved music, especially the Moana and Trolls sound tracks, singing right along with them and you could catch her dancing to any music that was playing.  Her favorite saying was “All Done!” but her life and memory are far from done.  She’ll continue to be remembered by those who loved her.  

Besides her parents, she leaves her maternal grandmother Jessica Chandler and maternal grandfather Howard Fagre and his wife Jilian; her uncle Tim Fagre; paternal grandmother Rhonda Page and paternal grandfather Jeff Page and his wife Andrea; her uncle Ryan Page; along with many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and beloved family friends.  Lia also will be missed by her furry companions Fifi and Daisy who always put a smile on her face.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Children’s Hospital Boston, especially 6 West and 7 South for their care and support of the whole family during her stay.  

Family and friends are welcome to gather for calling hours on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Buckler- Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main Street, Westerly, RI 02891.   A service will follow the calling hours at the funeral home beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
