Nancy Ward

Nancy C. (Kinney) Ward, 70 of Ashaway Road, Ashaway, RI died peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Carlton A. Ward.
Born in Westerly, RI on May 18, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Donald Kinney and Dorothy (Fowkes) Kinney.
Besides her loving and caring husband Carlton of 52 years, she was the devoted and dedicated mother of Tammy Edgar and her husband William Edgar Jr. of Ashaway, RI and Kevin Ward and his wife, Leah Ward. She also leaves her grandchildren; Matthew Edgar, Lacey Edgar and her husband Matthew Kores and Joseph Edgar, great-grandchildren; Mason Kores and Maya Kores as well as her brother David Kinney of Ashaway, RI and her Uncle John Fowkes of Richmond, RI. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Kinney.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
