Richard W. Burton

Richard William Burton, 58, of Pawcatuck Connecticut, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 8, 2024, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Rick was born on September 6, 1965 to the late Ronald I. Burton, Sr. and Mary H. Burton of Westerly.

Rick was a skilled mason. He had an extreme love for his son, fishing, and the outdoors. He maintained his passionate spirit and sense of humor until his final moments.

Rick was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Mary Burton as well as his brother Ronald I. Burton, Jr. Rick is survived by his son, Nicholas W. Burton, his sister Marie Perkins, his nephews Eric and Shane Perkins, Zackary Campbell, and his nieces Amy and Emily Burton.

A graveside service will be held at First Hopkinton Cemetery, Chase Hill Road, Ashaway, RI on Friday March 15, 2024 at 10:00 am.
