Beth Ann Ternes

Beth Stedman Ternes, 44, of New London, CT died peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her home.
Born in Westerly, RI on March 26, 1974, she was the daughter of Roger and Kathy (Payne) Stedman of Charlestown, RI.
She was a member of Perryville Grange #7, Washington County Pomona Grange #2, and the Rhode Island State Grange.
Beth loved the ocean; especially walking on the beach. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing needlepoint, and helping people in need; even if it is just lending an ear.
She was predeceased by her grandparents; Richard and Frances (Kearns) Stedman of East Hartford, CT, and William and Helen (Gorski) Payne also of East Hartford, CT.
Besides her parents, she leaves her children; Zackary Stedman of Charlestown, RI, and Victoria Ternes of Norwich, CT, her sister and brother-in-law; Mary and Peter Haberek, Jr. of Richmond, RI, a brother and sister-in-law; Scott and Denise Stedman of Glastonbury, CT, two nephews; Peter Haberek III and Jonathan Haberek of Richmond, RI. She also leaves two step-daughters; Monique and Ariel Ternes of Westerly, RI.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11 am at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 15 East Beach Road, Charlestown, RI.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beth’s memory may be made to St. Andrew Lutheran Church-Personal Needs Closet.
