Brandon Lloyd Fernald

March 16, 1988 ~ March 1, 2022 (age 33) 33 Years Old

Tribute

Brandon Lloyd Fernald, 33 of Hope Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 1,
2022. Brandon was born in Norwich, CT on March 16, 1988. He was the son of Robert Frederick
Fernald, Jr. and Marisa Jo (Watson) Etchells.

In his youth, Brandon played Little League Baseball and was involved in the Scouting program.
He graduated from the MET school in Providence, RI in the class of 2006 in which he earned a certificate in food inspection due to a high culinary arts interest. Brandon completed some college at CCRI and began his career working in local restaurants as well as starting an online sales business with his friend Scott Nettleton.

For the past 13 years, Brandon was employed working as an Extruder Operator at HTP Meds in
Ashaway, RI. Over these years he also worked part time jobs learning many life skills such as drywall, roofing, landscaping and mastering his “green thumb”.

Brandon would light up a room with just his presence. The bond he shared with his family and close-knit friends was unbreakable. His infectious personality, energy and enthusiasm were beyond words, filling his short life of 33 years with many adventures and experiences. He enjoyed cooking, swimming, hiking, gardening, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, setting off fireworks, riding motorcycles, tinkering with electronics and fixing things. However, what he enjoyed most was helping those that he loved.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers’ William Watson, Robert Fernald Sr. and grandmother Josephine (Murella) Watson.

Besides his parents, Brandon is survived by his sister Briana Regine; Grandmother Algie
(Mazzeo) Achorn; Brother-in-law Christopher Regine; Niece Payton Regine; Foster sister Kaitlyn
(Fallon) Baptista and her daughter Kaila; Step-father Robert Etchells along with extended family and many friends! We will continue to honor him as we keep his spirit alive- "Love you, mean
it!"

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to an addiction and recovery center of your choice.
