Christine M. Harrington

Christine “Chris” Harrington, daughter of the late Edward and Irene Harrington, originally from Lynn, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Chris is survived by her adored son Patrick Tibbetts and his wife Jennifer, and adored daughter Alison Beach and her husband Brian. They share Chris’ amazing grandkids Matthew and Megan Tibbetts, Evan Nemeth, Abby and Jordan Beach. Chris was predeceased by her sister and best friend Kathleen “Kate” Coakley. Chris retired from Pfizer R&D in 2007.

An informal remembrance gathering will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly. As Chris wanted to be remembered for the happy times and sharing of memories that make you smile, please consider wearing her favorite color blue to the calling hours in memory of her.

Donations will be graciously accepted by the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., American Heart Assoc., The American Cancer Society, or HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.
