Donald Eugene Hindle

Donald Eugene Hindle, 68 of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital. Born in South Kingstown, RI on September 19, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Sherman) Hindle.

Donnie was a U.S. Navy veteran who proudly served his country from 1972 to 1981 as a BT2/3 and 1981 to 1988 as a DK2. He was stationed in many ports around the country, but he made his retirement home in Virginia Beach, VA. Donnie was constantly telling jokes and trying to make people laugh. But he was always the first person to tell you “how it is”.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Dawn Hancock (Douglas) and Nancy Hindle, both of Texas; several grandchildren; sister, Diane Loper of R.I.; brothers, Robert Hindle of R.I. and Charles Hindle (Kathleen) of CT.; several nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Elaine Nelson.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
