Douglas Main

Douglas Main, 56, of Pawcatuck, CT, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Westerly Hospital. Born in Waterbury, CT on December 1, 1961, he was the son of Patricia (Lis) Main and the late Warren D. Main.

Douglas was a truck driver for many years and also worked as a mechanic especially on older cars. He enjoyed going with his son to the Good Guys car show in Des Moines, Iowa along with riding motorcycles. Spending time socializing with friends and his family was what he loved the most. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves his son Justin Main and his wife Carling and his daughter Victoria Main; his grandchildren Elliot Alan Main and Estella Ruth Main along with his sister Ruth Main.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Buckler- Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main Street, Westerly, RI. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Stonington Cemetery following the service.
