Elizabeth A. Billmeier

Elizabeth A. (Dillon) Billmeier, 97 of Elm St. Westerly, RI died peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Billmeier.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 6, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Dr. Charles A. Dillon and Louise (Detzel) Dillon.
Elizabeth graduated from Oklahoma State University with her B.S Degree in 1942.
She was an active member of the YMCA Garden Club in Westerly, the Westerly College Club, the Immaculate Conception Prayer group, and a communicant of St. Pius X. in Westerly, RI.
Mrs. Billmeier will be sadly missed by her three children, Susan B. Renz and her husband, Gene S. Renz DDS of Westerly, Robert C. Billmeier Esq. and his wife, Lisa of Pennington, NJ, and Joseph G. Billmeier of Boston, MA. She was the loving grandmother of five, and great grandmother of seven. She was the mother of the late; Ann Mary Billmeier and was predeceased by her three sisters; Mary Louise Williams, Katherine C. Mead and Charlotte Fitzgerald.
The Billmeier family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X. Church, 44Elm St. Westerly, RI. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s New Cemetery.
