Gayle Ann Lumadue

Gayle Ann (Shaffer) Lumadue, 59, of Pawcatuck, CT passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. She was the wife of the late Ronald Jeffrey Lumadue. Born in New London, CT on September 2, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Marilyn (Yerrington) Shaffer.

Gayle was an amazing mother who raised her daughter on her own after the early passing of her husband. She was a successful business woman with a witty attitude that helped her through the good and the difficult times. She was also a former residential aide at the Stonington Institute. Gayle was a private woman but cherished the moments that she shared with her close friends and family. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She leaves her daughter Kendra Marie Lumadue, her sister Lynn Nile and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Gayle’s life will be held privately by the family at a later date. Gayle loved all animals so if you wish to send memorial donations in her name please consider the CT Humane Society, 455 Post Rd E, Westport, CT 06880.
