Henry Edward Schweitzer III, 70, of Westerly, passed away on June 7th, 2021 at home. Born in Bronx, New York on February 12th, 1951. He was the son of Henry Schweitzer Jr. and Catherine McGrath. He leaves behind: His son, David Schweitzer and his partner, Marilyn Fallas, His life partner, Susan Astrella and her children Alex and Joe Astrella, His sister, Carol Bender and her husband, Martin Bender
His nephew, Michael Bender, his wife, Laura, and their children, Kevin, Sean and Aiden, A beloved niece, Christy Bender, and his former wife, Debra Schweitzer. He attended and graduated from Mount St. Michael’s in Bronx, NY and Towson University in Towson, MD. After graduating, he entered the world of sales. He moved to Florida where he worked for Colgate. Later he would move to Massachusetts and work at such places as: Catamount, ACT, and Makita. When he retired he moved to Westerly, Rhode Island and began working part time at Home Depot. Some of his passions included kick boxing, spin class, spending time at the beach, traveling wherever he could and American history. But most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family while having a glass of wine.
The family would like to thank Hope Health Hospice for their compassionate care especially, Paige, Sandi and Gina. A special thank you to the many family members and friends for their visits, gifts of dinners, expert lawn care and wine runs.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Buckler and Johnston in Westerly Rhode Island and Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury Massachusetts.

Services will be held at Mulhane Home for Funerals (45 N.Main St. Millbury, MA 01527) on Tuesday June 15th. Calling hours are 9-11AM with mass to follow at 11:15AM.
