John Mathews, 82, of Westerly, RI passed away on December 26th after a long illness. He was the owner of New Britain Nursery & Landscaper Service, prior to retiring in Westerly.
He was an avid fisherman and loved boating and clamming.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Lynn, two sisters Maryanne Marcinczyk of Rocky Hill, CT and Lucy Grasso of Newington, CT.

A graveside service will be held at Noon on Friday, December 30th at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St. Westerly, RI
