Katherine Jean Lallo

Katherine Jean (Parnigoni) Lallo, 87, of Westerly, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021 at The Westerly Health Center. She was the loving wife of the late Edward P. Lallo, Jr. Born in Westerly, RI on August 25, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Leonardo R. and Ann A. (Anderson) Parnigoni.

Katherine (Kay) served her country proudly as a member of The U.S. Air Force. She owned/operated Countryside Chicken Restaurant for many years along with her family. She enjoyed reading and playing bingo. She looked forward to her excursions to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun with her dear friend Mary Banker. She loved spending time with her two grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.


She leaves her children Edward P. Lallo III of Westerly and Ann Moore and her husband Garry of Westerly; her grandchildren Megan Selvidio and Morgan Lallo; her sister Mary Parnigoni; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Anna Edgar and Frank Parnigoni.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Westerly Health Center for all their care and support during Kay’s time with them.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI. Burial will immediately follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly. All are invited to gather for a calling hour from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home.
