Lillian A. Jarem

Lillian A. (Liepus) Jarem, 100, of Elm St. Westerly, RI died peacefully on Friday July 8, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Jules Lason and John Jarem.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on June 19, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Emelia (Sergedas) Liepus.

Mrs. Jarem graduated from New York University in 1942.
After raising her family in Queens she went on to become an Executive with Marsh and McLennan in New York City.

Lillian and John retried to Westerly, RI in 1980. She became in active member of the Dunns- Corners Presbyterian Church and volunteered many hours and years at the Westerly Hospital.

She will be sadly missed by her two daughter, Lynne L. Heaney and Lorraine J. Lason and two step-sons; Nicholas and Gregory Jarem. She was the loving grandmother of, Allison, Russell, Stephanie, Todd and Daniel and several great grandchildren.

Lillian’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 1-2 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI.
