Linda C. J. Springer

Linda J. Springer, 67, of Coventry, passed away on Monday July 15th, 2019 in Westerly, RI with her loving family by her side. Linda was born on September 2nd, 1951 in Syracuse, NY. She was a graduate from Thomas J. Corcoran High School in 1969 and SUNY Cobleskill. Linda resided in Coventry the past 34 years and devoted her career to Coventry Public Schools for 27 years.
Linda enjoyed outdoor activities throughout her life including sailing, skiing, hiking, biking, and softball. Her hobbies included photography of mother nature, scrap booking, and painting. She was an avid collector of beach walk treasures including shells, rocks, sea glass, & memories galore.
She was predecease by her husband Robert F. Springer; as well as her parents Louis and Suzanne Jordan and sister Charlene J. Livingston. Surviving is her only daughter, Amelia K. Springer. Also surviving are her three siblings: Diane Giessler of VA, Bruce Jordan of CO, Nancy Wart of FL. She was a beloved Aunt of nine nieces & nephews.
The family will be holding a PRIVATE tribute. Her Memorial Service & Burial will be Open to the Public at Riverbed Cemetery in Westerly, RI on Tuesday, July 23rd at 2:30pm. Following the Service, her family will greet friends at The Windjammer Surf Bar in Misquamicut, RI for an informal Celebration of her Life.
