Lorraine F. Jordan

Lorraine F. (Greene) Jordan, 71, of Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at RI Hospital. She was the loving wife of Arthur N. Jordan and together they shared 33 years of marriage. Born in Warwick on September 28, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Walter William and Beatrice A. (Walsh) Greene.

Lorraine was a beautiful person on the inside and out. Whether you knew her from her work as a regional parts manager for Carquest Auto Parts or as her family or friend, she was always a positive, driven person with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time on the beach, boating, and adventuring in the family’s motorhome. She enjoyed traveling with her family, especially cruises to any place, the warmer the better. Most importantly, she loved her family. She was a caring wife to her husband, a wonderful mom in raising her daughters to become the strong and independent women they are today and a devoted grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Art, her daughters, Amanda B. LaDuke and Elizabeth L. Jordan, her son-in-law Jason LaDuke and future son-in-law Samuel Kates, her grandson Benjamin J. LaDuke and another grandson on the way. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Desmarais and her husband Del; along with her nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Parish, 437 Carolina Back Rd., Carolina, RI. Burial will follow at River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, RI. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly, RI.
