Mary Alice Cornell

Mary Alice Cornell, 84, of North Stonington, Ct passed away on November 17, 2021. She was born September 26, 1937 to Charles and Ella Cooke.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, birdwatching, listening to country music, going to fairs, cooking, playing games on her tablet and watching Westerns. Every summer she would make strawberry shortcake for supper.  She was a kind, thoughtful soul who never forgot a birthday and would frequently check in on her friends.

She is survived by her daughter Wanda Roberts (Joseph) grandchildren Matthew Roberts(Lisa) and Stephanie Hall(Jason) and her great grandchildren, Asher, Caelin, Abigail, Adam and Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held privately.

In Mary’s memory, the family encourages all to do an act of kindness.
