Paul Perry Paiva

Paul Perry Paiva, 90, of Westerly, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family at Westerly Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Howard) Paiva. Born in Bristol, RI on June 27, 1931, he was the son of the late Manuel and Victoria (Perry) Paiva.

Paul was a graduate of Bristol High School and the R.I. School of Design with a degree in Textile Engineering. When he retired in 1998, he was the Director of Research and Development for Charbert Inc.

Besides his loving wife Jan, he leaves his children David Paiva (Valerie) and Robert Paiva (Kerri); and his very special grandson Robbie. Paul was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy, Leonora, Mary and Loretta. He lost his brother, Manuel, in WWII.

Funeral services will be private. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring. Paul was a people person who enjoyed life to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to your favorite charity.
