Raymond L. Weeden

Raymond L. Weeden, 71 of Wood River Jct. died suddenly on Monday March 4, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Renee M. (Ford) Weeden.

Born in Providence, RI on February 3, 1948 he was the son of the late George Weeden Jr. and Lillian E. (Perry) Weeden of Charlestown, RI.

Raymond had been employed as a pipe fitter at Electric Boat in for many years and later worked for the former Harris Graphics and Foxwoods Casino.

Raymond leaves behind two sisters Sandra Frisby and Mary Hyman of Providence as well as four brothers George Weeden III of Providence, Eugene Weeden of Hopkinton, Joseph Weeden of Charlestown and George Weeden of North Kingstown.

Raymond leaves behind four children Michelle Lubin of Hopkinton, Raymond R. Weeden of Charlestown, Raphael Weeden of Wakefield and Diane Miner of Westerly. Raymond also leaves behind eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild as well as a host of aunts, uncles and extended family.


Calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2019 from 10-11 AM at Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI. Funeral service will immediately follow.
