Rosemary A. Hill

Rosemary Agnes Hill, 91 of Edgewood Ave, Westerly RI passed away peacefully at home with family on August 31, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph W. Hill in 2009.

Rosemary was born in Rockville CT, daughter of the late Bernard and Agnes (Burns) Ertel. She will be greatly missed by her son Brian Hill and his wife Lori of Gales Ferry CT, her daughter Cheryl Hill of Warwick RI, her daughter Karin Hill of Bristol RI, her son Gregory Hill of W. Virginia, and her treasured grandson Jared Hill of Gales Ferry CT. She was predeceased by her brother Bernard Ertel and leaves several nieces and nephews and her cherished sister-in-law Jean Ertel.

Rosemary will always be remembered for her strong feisty personality, her quick wit and sense of humor, her honesty and strong moral compass, and her loyalty to family and friends, especially the close bond she established with her neighbors who all brought up their families together. She always found time to spend with the children, giving them guidance and encouragement.
