Clay B. Kerr

Clay Kerr, age 88, of Hopkinton, RI passed away November 8. He was born in Hohenwald, TN in 1933.
Clay was a hard worker. He began his working career in the Air Force Sgt as an Aviation mechanic. He proudly worked as a civil engineer for many years building seaways, highways, bridges etc. in his early years. He later began a career at Electric boat working as a Test Mechanic for 35+ years.

Clay lived life to the fullest. He was such a kind and generous man. He loved spending time with his family and friends. It did not matter what activities he did with his family, he enjoyed just being with them. Our family is grateful to know that Clay is finally at peace.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia Kerr. He is survived by 2 children Margaret Smolinski and John Kerr, 2 Grandchildren Briana and Austin Kerr, 2 siblings Paul A Kerr and Geneva Ruth Amans.

Visitation will be held at Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home 121 Main Street Westerly, RI 02891 on Friday, November 18th from 11-12pm, all are welcome. A funeral service will start at noon, burial to follow at First Hopkinton Cemetery, Ashaway.
