Kenneth W. Lyman

Kenneth W. Lyman, 92, of Dixon St., Westerly, RI died peacefully on Tuesday March 15, 2022.
Born in Westerly, RI on July 23, 1929 he was the son of the late Leon and Hazel (Bennett) Lyman.
Mr. Lyman was a long time employee of the Westerly Hospital, working in the laboratory and other departments. He was also employed as a Job Coach at group homes in South County. He was a CPR and First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross Chapters and was a member of the Ashaway Ambulance Corp.
Ken enjoyed performing with and directing local theater groups throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut. He had been a professional photographer a lifelong musician, playing the saxophone and piano.
Ken will be sadly missed by his two children, Julie Dugas and her husband Walter of Westerly, William Lyman and his wife Elana of Hope Valley, RI. She was the loving grandfather of Michael, Jeffrey, Kelly, Christopher, Jennifer, Heath and Brandon and great grandfather of, Logan, Devan, Dylan, Tyler, Noah, Jaxton, Ryan, Kyle, Jayden and Alyvia and his niece Nancy Lee Mathews. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Lyman .
The Lyman family would like to thank the staff at the Westerly Hospital for the care provided to Ken during his Illness.
A private graveside service will be held at River Bend Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
