Tribute

Theodore (Teddy) Perich of Yonkers passed quietly in his sleep on February 29th in Charlestown Rhode Island. Teddy lived 91 of his 93 years in Yonkers, NY,  graduating Saunders High School and leaving only to serve his nation during World War II as a quartermaster in the U.S. Navy.  After service Teddy met his wife of 63 years, Helen Chomko, at Saint Mary’s Orthodox Church where they became active members.

Teddy loved, and was loved, by his 2 brothers (Andrew and John), 3 sisters (Vera, Olga and Martha) and Helen’s 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Their spouses became siblings, his nieces and nephews his children, and their children his grandchildren. Everyone loved to sit and talk with Uncle Teddy.  Teddy is survived by his loving wife Helen, caring daughter Cathy (Swaby), her husband Keith, grandsons Timmy and Danny, their spouses Niki and Reyna, and great grandchildren Noah and Isaiah. Teddy is also survived by his youngest son Andy, his wife Karen, grandson Brad, and granddaughters Morgan and Audrey.  Teddy will be joining his son Teddy, in the hereafter.

Teddy was the owner operator of Little Art Graphics of Tuckahoe, enjoyed golfing, bowling, and activities with his friends and family. He was a member and officer of the Catholic Slovak Club of Yonkers for many years. His memory will be eternal.

There will be a viewing Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 930 am in Saint Mary’s Orthodox Church, 485 North Broadway, Yonkers with the funeral mass to follow at 1030 am.
