Wayne Harold Anderson

On Tuesday, April 27th, Wayne Harold Anderson passed away at the age of 59 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
Wayne was born September 4th, 1961, in Westerly, RI to Charles W Anderson and Essie Anderson. Wayne was fortunate to be supported by Perspectives Corporation , lived in the same group home for 27 years and attended the Olean Center of Westerly during many of those years.
 
For those lucky enough to know Wayne you knew that the first thing he wanted was your first name and last name. First and last and he wrote it in his book.. And from the first moment Wayne came into this life to the very last he was an outgoing vibrant soul with not only endless love, but endless shenanigans. With his phenomenal dance moves or corny jokes. Wayne was sure to put a smile on your face. He was a man of many talents from always playing guitar solos & getting the rest of the house mates to sing along, to beasting out showing off his black belt karate moves. He attended many concerts, but his favorite was Britney Spears. Wayne was an avid traveler, visiting places such as Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Disney and Graceland to name a few. 
 
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Charles W Anderson and his Mother, Essie Anderson. 
Wayne is survived by his Brother Richard Anderson and spouse Jill Anderson; his sister Gayle DePerry and spouse Joseph DePerry, his sister Wendy Hayes and spouse Les Brown; and all of his caregivers and friends at Westerly Group Home
A Private Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home located at 121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891.
