William E. Perrin, 81, of Ashaway, passed away on September 7, 2021. Born in Westerly, Rhode Island on November 7, 1939, he was the son of the late Grant W. Perrin and Eleanor M. (Hoxsie) Perrin.
William retired after 20 years of service with the United States Air Force. He retired as a TSGT working as an investigator in the Office of Special Investigations. After retiring from the service, William worked with Aetna Pumps, Inc. and UBS Building Supplies as a truck driver before retiring. William enjoyed being outdoors, traveling and spending time with his loving wife, Sandra. William also enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s activities.
He is predeceased by his wife, Sandra L. (Porter) Perrin. He leaves his children, Diann Perrin and her boyfriend Allen DiCastro, his son Scott and his wife, Caighln Perrin; his grandchildren Adam Cadow and his girlfriend Lidice Vidal, Emily Crabtree and her boyfriend James Pittman, Konnor and Kya Perrin; and his great-granddaughter Lanina Vidal Cadow.
William also leaves two sisters, Nancy Lanphear and Barbara Wells; two brothers, Frank Perrin and Richard Perrin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 13th from 6 PM to 8 PM at Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly.
Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 14th Friends and family are invited to meet directly at the RI Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter at 12:15 pm at the administration building for the 12:30 pm chapel service. Masks are required at the cemetery.
