Maurice G. Ritter

Maurice G. Ritter of Pawcatuck, CT passed away on November 7, 2017 at the age of 90. Born in Whitehall, Maryland on February 20, 1927, he attended the 9th District School in Cockeysville, MD. Maurice moved his family to Connecticut in 1956 and was employed by Charles Pfizer in Groton for 31 years. During WWII he proudly served in the US Navy as Seaman First Class on the USS Naukesa.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (Cranshaw) Ritter; his son, Maurice J. Ritter; brothers, John S. and Buddy; his sisters, Catherine (Ritter) Warrener and Doris (Ritter) Morris.
Maurice is survived by his daughters, Jean (Ritter) Labriola and husband John of Westerly, RI, and Kathleen (Ritter) Murray and husband Bill of Goffstown, NH; his grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Christina, Kelly, Amanda and Catherine; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Evelyn and Easton; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
